Keith Teboul: “The Cube stays true to the quick planing, fast and drivey quad concept. A newly designed rocker and subtle changes in the outline have allowed this board to keep its speed, stay stable and yet snappy with good pivot for all onshore to side shore conditions.

I’ve been playing with diamond tails, getting some very good feedback, so I went with this style of tail to have a shorter rail line for quicker bottom turns and cutbacks, yet have a stable tail to keep you planing through the lulls”.

Bought a 2018 104L Cube a few days a ago and tried it in 20-25kts, head-high cross-onshore waves with a 5.6. I am 83kg and have windsurfed since the early 1980s. The Cube is absolutely superb - it performs exactly as Keith says that it should; gets out through the whitewater easily; carries speed through the bottom turn and still is snappy off the top. Superb!

Recently bought the 86l 2019 Quatro Cube after riding single fins for the last 28y. It’s absolutely amazing. After sailing it 6 times I changed the stock fins to K4 Leon Stiff rears (16cm) and K4 SharkII fronts (8cm) to enable earlier planing but maintain the gouging bite on the waves.... it’s even better than ever now. The volume is excellently distributed so that I no longer stall the tail in mushy gutless waves and the squash diamond tail, fin positions and rail profile enable it to spin on a sixpence..... this has been the best windsurfing purchase I have ever made. Well done and thank you to everyone involved in the design, shaping and manufacturing

Great toy !
Works as well in mushy on-shore conditions as in side/side-off glassy waves.
I already posted a review, but I recently had the chance to test in pure surfing terms and I'm so happy about that board that I had to say a few more words about it 🙂

Cube 95: Best board i've had so far. Planes immediately, turns like no the other i've ever ridden - been windsurfing since 1981 ...so i've had lot of boards!!!

Fantastic !! Quick planing and extremely easy to manoeuvre. A lot of grip in the turns.
Used it mostly in on, or side-on shore conditions for now, with a twin setup.
Love it !!!

Flawless combo, over the years I tried a lot for gear always looking for the holy grail, many times close but always with a BUT until now. The Cube 90 with the Fringe 5.0 are perfect to each other, they feel like mind surfing they are never in my way. Loose, fast, easy...large surf, small.
Havent tried the new models, but if they improved this one I want it!

I have been riding the 2018 Cube Quad for about a month now in mostly side-onshore waves and I love it. It is becoming my one-board quiver. It is super quick to plane and accelerate, and very smooth in chop. I feel like I am carrying much more speed off the bottom and into the lip and getting more pop on aerials. It is super stable and easy to ride, and it is crazy short. Great at controlled releases off of the top, so I have no excuse not to learn to Taka. So far I have sailed it with 5.3, 5.0, and 4.7 and all of these feel like they hit the sweet spot.

It seems to jump higher than my longer boards, as it fits tightly into the curve of the wave and really rockets straight up! I have been searching for the ideal side-on board for a while and now I have found it.

Stepping in succession of the Tempo 92, Quad 110, Cube 90 and Tetra 109 anticipation was high when I finally got to try out the 95 cube in proper Euro waves. In cross on conditions the day started with drift out on a 5.2 in 1-2m Euro sized waves. Super easy to get out. Pops whitewater like a dream even with my 90kg. Points high to reach the lineup in no time. Easy to pick and catch waves on the way in and link turns and transitions on the waveface like nothing I've experienced before - even underpowered. As the wind picked up I had to change down from an overpowered 5.2, went through the full range of my 4.6 before ending the day on a 4.2 fully powered up. The 95 Cube felt at ease as the wind increased and waves moved into the 2-4m Euro size - never feeling to big. With plenty of power in the the rig and long waves linking turns and tearing the wave apart both frontside and backside was effortless. It was even possible to connect rides from the outside pier all the way into the sandy beach launch spot. Never done that before and it was only made possible by the ability of the Cube to keep speed through both narrow and drawn out frontside bottom turns and not loosing grip in long backside BTs setting up height for another set of frontside turns. The tail slides out on demand adding tons of fun and a surfy' feel, but never felt unsecure going vertical or for big snaps. Stepped of the water that evening with a renewed feeling of joy from wavesailing - owing it all to the new board ... The short of it is that the Tempo, Quads and Tetra are now out the door (despite being awesome) - and the Cube 95 will be my go to board for most conditions the coming winter season. Absolutely awesome! Period. Can't wait to let it rip sideshore or cross off conditions!

Hi, I'm an intermediate standard sailor, decided to upgrade my 2013 Quatro 98l quad to the 2016 105l. So far I've sailed it in all conditions from inland bump and jump to west coast cross off wave riding.
I have been well impressed with the boards handling generally . Handles chop well, planes early and accelerates to full speed quickly giving me confidence when launching in difficult conditions . While on paper 105 is a lot of volume, the overall impression is that I'm on a 95 l board, however the 105 litres is useful in gusty conditions as the board keeps planing well. We've been getting a lot of difficult days lately and I have to say this size of board makes light work of launching into waves when the wind is light.
Jumping is a lot of fun , but its on the wave face where this board really comes into its own. Grips really well and carries speed vertically up the wave face to really setup sick top turns. I loved my old 98 quad but already I feel this is a much more exciting wave board. Would I recommend, well I've just ordered the 85l version for the bigger windier days. Roll on the Autumn storms at Maheroraty .
Cu there Rob

Hi , thought I'd share my early view on the 2016 Quatro cube 105l. I bought this to replace my 2013 Quatro 98l as I felt I needed a bigger spread of volume between my new high wind wave board . Let me start with my old 98, I sailed it in all conditions from 4.2 -6.2 sail, onshore , cross and classic down the line . It's a board I'd really grown to love the more I sailed it, so it was a difficult decision to up grade as I couldn't really fault it. I've only sailed the 105 3 times, Irish summer wind letting me down, however nailed both down the line and cross on mushy conditions. The first thing I noticed is because of the volume distribution it likes getting your feet back quickly when starting to plane. It does plane very quickly, acceraltion to top speed is very impressive meaning on launching in waves hitting jumping ramps is easy and fun. It pops over white water extremely easily, taking some of the worry out of launching into waves in marginal conditions. At 105 litres , me being 90 kg it means more waves days are accessible , always a good thing. It does not feel big however, at 62cm wide its slight narrower than my old 98 and i feel it's slightly more comfortable carrying speed in chop. In the air its compact shape means it feels like a much smaller volumes board, I'm looking forward to trying some big air . Ive sailed it down the line in half mast conditions on a 5.3 sail. First impressions really impressed me. It grips and turns at speed on the bottom turn and is awesome off the lip . I imagine I'll find it much easier to get air off the lip as this board gives the rider a lot of confidence with its its ease of sailing combined with radical performance. First impressions I would say it's an improvement on the 98 it replaced. It's fun , easy, and radical all at the same time congrats to Quatro rob

After two months spent on the new Cube in various conditions from waist to mast high with sails ranging from 3.7 up to 5.3 I can say that this biard is AWESOME. Pure magic. Realy quick on plaining, turns like crazy, stock MFC RTM fins are great.

Very comfy board that is very quick and is as fun on mast high waves as it is with fins forward on a waist high day!

In 85 litres it doesn't feel too big (when riding) even with 3.7 and considering its 58cm width this is quite an achievment!
One of the best things about this board os that when the waves are not really powerful or clean, it still goes quick and stable in bottom turn.

Thanks Keith and all of the team for bringing such an amazing product!!!
